This place feels like a cultural moshpit; a mix of Creole and Glam. I hadn't heard of this and was looking for something a savory. When I walked in I wasn't sure what to get at first and upon deciding the person at the counter allowed me to try something before I made my purchase. While waiting for my food they had a tasteful selection of music going and plenty of memorabilia on the walls to drown myself in. Would recommend for dine in and take-out.

Incredibly tasty, and super duper vegetarian friendly. My order, and what I recommend is a half & half plate of the “B&B” plus their “Vegan White Chili”. Throw in a good “Dragon and Yum-Yums” beer for good measure. Grab that Frank Reynolds hot sauce. You can’t go wrong.

Crazy big portions, flavor, and service. That garlic toast is to die for. Cashier whipped out samples of their entrees at light speed and I was served my food before I could even finish signing the receipt!

A first timer to Yats Traders Point. What a great time !!!!! Even though I was the only dine-in customer, there were plenty of to-go orders going out the door. My first surprise was the counter help asked if I wanted to taste a sample of an item from the menu. Sure!!!!! I tried the Chili Cheese Etouffee with Crawfish and a sample of Red Beans & Smoked Sausage. It was a toss up. And then she asked if I wanted Half n Half? Sold ! ! ! Everything was great. The garlic toast topped it off. The music brought back memories of when I heard the songs as First Release. Good times. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Indy. Well here we are back for more with a Half n Half of Chili Cheese Etouffee and Red Beans & Smoke Sausage. What a way to get prepped for the week.

Outstanding little cajun food restaurant that is easy to find using Google Maps. It is on the NW side of Indianapolis, Indiana. This is some of the best cajun I have had outside of Louisiana. The restaurant is in a small shopping area. It is well kept and clean and the service was excellent. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and is free. This place gets better with every visit.

Really loved this strip mall restaurant. The gumbo was exceptional and the staff was very friendly. It's not a fancy place, but the food quality will bring me back again.

19AUG24 - When I lived in the Indy area Yats was a regular lunch stop. So glad they're still around! Great food, awesome garlic bread and cool, eclectic atmosphere. Pepsi guy needs to figure his hit out, come on MAN!

Authentic Cajun curries and stews with a low-key, artsy, and charming vibe, taking me straight back to the good old days in the New Orleans French Quarter! The bread is amazing and is the highlight of their menu, all smothered with an orange buttery sauce. For entrees, I especially recommend the drunken chicken, the chicken maque choux and the spinach and mushroom etouffee. This specific Yats location is particularly fancy schmancy! Unlike the other Yats locations that use disposable plates, Yats Traders Point uses ceramic plates. And this Yats has an actual bar, with taps for beer. The people there are awesome! Cool, friendly, and always happy to chat. The restaurant is so hip and artsy, you feel like you're in New Orleans again! 5/5, would recommend!
